Visual identity design for 'Next Up': an event organised by the University of the Arts London.
An annual event run by the university for final year graphic design and illustration students. The aim of the event is to encourage students to get information on postgraduate courses, be apart of discussions with alumni, hear from industry experts and network.
In collaboration with Ben Dugdale who took the identity that I created and transferred it onto various different mediums for the event at Shoreditch Town Hall.
A typographic approach for this identity was adopted, using the 'x' and 't', the new identity gave a stronger connection to the ethos and values the event stood for. It provided a versatile graphic solution which could be used across a range of different mediums. The idea was to elaborate on the events endless possibilities for networking and further education.

Book within a Book
Book project: Two physical locations are chosen to explore, document, communicate their attributes, similarities and differences in a series of different of ways.
The points are located within a bedroom:
Point One is a public space in which the most cherished objects are on display, some of which contain positive messages. Others are everyday objects which provide meaning to the occupant. Some even represented and encouraged for a brighter future.
Point Two is a private keepsake box. Most objects inside had negative connotations. They represented a past time. Things that were kept secret, hidden and not to be shared.
A book within a book. Using life size object photography to bring each object to life. An index is produced to give information about each objects life span and journey.
